- Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
- App usage data and interaction logs
- Approximate location, where enabled, to support farm-mapping features
- USSD session data (phone number, menu selections) when using the USSD portal

- To create and manage your account and provide Platform features
- To process transactions and maintain farm and financial records
- To send service notifications, alerts, and support communications
- To improve the Platform, troubleshoot issues, and develop new features
- To meet legal, regulatory, and audit obligations
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, misuse, or security incidents
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of your consent at registration, the necessity of processing to perform our services to you, compliance with legal obligations (including tax and financial recordkeeping), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Platform.

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers who support hosting, payments, SMS/USSD delivery, and analytics, under confidentiality obligations
- Mariseth Farms leadership and authorized staff, for operational and oversight purposes
- Regulators or authorities, where required by law or valid legal process
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of Mariseth Farms
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. Following account deletion, certain records (such as transaction and tax-relevant data) may be retained for the period required by Ghanaian law before being securely deleted. 7. Your Rights
Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements

The Platform is intended for use by adults operating or managing farm and business activity. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
